I’ve seen that drizzled glue before but it always just rubs right off…

This is what I thought should happen, but the reseller said she removed it with a razer blade (obviously not removed or was careless and didn't check her work under appropriate light) so I have tried everything I could find in internet searches with no luck - worse fear is the reseller has damaged them... Which still doesn't address the first 4 boxes with wax packing and the defects,

You are saying reseller... .what does that mean? For me that usually means it's a second hand sale. Like a big box store or showroom is a regular seller, but a reseller would be something like Etsy or the Restore selling off something originally purchased elsewhere.

By reseller I mean the store that supplies the tile, they are not direct from the manufacturer and I can't speak to to if there is a middleman between the manufacturer and the store I bought them from. They are not from a private seller.

Weird, why did she even try to remove those? Did you try like baking soda with tad of water and microfiber ? Or a rubbing alcohol or vinegar diluted with water or tooth paste?

She tried to remove them as I stated that after having only 55 out of 106 tiles that were actually full tiles I can use due to the light and lighting in my Kitching that would show blemishes I guess she wanted to make sure they were good. I ordered >15% extra tile and ended up having to order even more due to these issue so wasn't willing to take something she didn't inspect. She said she used a razer blade to remove glue.

I tried nail polish remover, Goof Off, boiling water, Windex, and dawn soap - I avoided anything that is abrasive as I didn't want to damage the finish given the issues I have been experiencing.

Take one tile and test, if nothing works just return. She shouldn't have touched them.

A tile that is high maintenance and damaged right out of the box .... sounds like a lousy tile for a backsplash.

I would ask for a refund and pick something else.

Put the tile in the oven at 300* or so for 15 minutes. Pull 'em out one at a time and try the other tricks please.
