Granny flat

We gave our Granny flat a makeover. We had to redo the kitchen, add a dining space, paint the living area and add some decor details. I wanted to give it a relaxed cottage feeling. I painted the walls a light grey.
Our budget was about $700
Expenses as follows:
Cabinets (bought on Gumtree): $120
Paint (wall and cabinets): $100
Wood for shelves, brackets and bench: $50
Benchtops (new): $140
Handles (we had it from a previous project).
Table $10 and lots of elbow grease
Chairs $50
Coffee table $15 ( made from a wire basket and a top of an old coffee table from gumtree)
Stove: $100
Decor: $100 (cushions, throws and decor items)
tV cabinet: free from a friend

I think it was a good idea to reduce all those bright reds. Good choice.

Great job. Kitchen looks cohesive, streamlined and fresh. Lounge area looks more calming without the hot red. Very nicely done!
