    Epoxy? What type?

    We used a moisture primer and then an Epoxy base with Polyaspartic top coat. The manufacturer is Sika.

    Yes, the 1/4" flake blend adds enough surface texture to make the surface slip resistant.

    How resistant is it to ice, salt, and other Ontario winter detritus?

    They are safe against ice, salt and sand as long as the installer puts it on thick enough and preps the surface correctly. I purposely try to destroy mine and do not clean at all for the entire winter. I do not even need to power wash, just use the hose and all of the debris is washed away.
