Keeping with my passion of upcycling, I jumped at the idea of a recycled balcony makeover. The sectional is made from old pallets that were painted. The cushions were salvaged from an old sofa. The ladybug fabric had formally drapes purchased at a thrift store. An old Ikea table was given a new life by cutting the legs down and given a fresh coat of paint to be tranformed into a coffee table. The wrought iron chairs were salvaged from the trash. The pots all came from thrift stores, The windows were salvaged from a house that was being renovated. With a few new accents such as a the throw pillows and patterned rug the balcony has gone from an eye sore to a wonderful oasis.
