Thinking of doing the same thing for my kitchen. I have had several bids and they all do the painting process different. Some want to use a roller for the cabinet bases and spray the doors, some plan to sand the wood, while others plan to us a high bond primer instead. Any suggestions which process/processes are best for long term durability and for a high quality look?

Lily Rose Staging & Redesign LLC, different painters use different methods. I know a good painter can brush/roll the boxes and spray out the faces and the whole thing would look great. We prefer to do one or the other; spray everything or tip everything; but each job if different.
As far as the high bond primer..all good primers are high bond. The critical stage is prep work...that is why you have bids half the price as other bids its usually the amount of time with prep. We always degloss and sand; it is well worth the cost in terms of durability.

Nice job on the cabinet, looks great. I agree prep is the most important part of repainting make sure you sand before paint.

I like the contrast that's created between the clean solid white cabinetry and the rustic floors and textured stone counter top edges.

Can you give me a rough estimate for how much that would cost? Thinking of doing the same. Also I have dimonds glued and screwed to the front of my cabinet doors. I'd like to remove them. What would my options be? Thank you!

Nice paint job as far as we can tell from photos. I would have swapped the beige outlet covers for white covers to match the wall. Maybe the homeowners will do this. Also, what's the moulding strip along the top of the far wall cabinets? What purpose does that serve?
