curbless shower glass

I recently renovated my bathroom and put in a curbless shower. I was told by the glass company that it’s not recommended to drill brackets for the glass into the floor.

For one, they said due to water sitting next to the Bracket compared to a track or a frame may lead to more mold build up, breakdown.

I also have a schluter waterproof system, will this or could this create a leak down the road if drilling the glass bracket into the floor?

I am also on a slab, and have a good pitch in my shower.

Any advice is appreciated. I really wanted a frameless shower since it’s curbless, but Hesitate now to have brackets put into the floor compared to a track.
