Waht is the point of the question . To me it is whatever works for both you and your the pros you are working with . My clients now almost always either credit card or e -transfers . I do not think I have been paid with a cheque for at least 5 yrs.

Depends on the amount. Some would be getting a loan, taking out a second mortgage,,,,

@patricia Absolutely whatever works for the client and pro, but this is more asking what people would prefer to use if they could use whatever they want, if that makes sense. For example - I would absolutely work with a person to use whatever method they need, but if it is up to me and my preference, I'm paying online.
