Does anyone have experience with Delta faucets in matte black?

My friend’s kitchen remodel has started and her new faucet has arrived. She loves the style, but is concerned about fingerprints. Handling the faucet before installation has left some greasy looking spots from clean hands. Will this be a long term problem?

If you want a maintenance free faucet ? As in you never have to wipe it down ? You get touchless and you will still have to wipe it down!

You can see a hand on anything. Stainless, chrome, black etc.

I have a delta matte black bathroom faucet and feel it shows more water stains and mess than my other chrome faucets. I have a delta champaigne finish faucet in my kitchen and it doesn't show a thing.

Just my opinion, but I don’t think any black surface is very forgiving - especially when in close proximity to water. Spots would likely be an issue, even with a matte finish.
