IMO in small spaces simple is best and i also think the whole gold hardware thing is going to be the next dated look I love chrome in bathrooms for all the stuff it is timeless always easy to care for and if you want a bit of wamth do all polished nickel it does have a warm feel next to chrome.

We don't know where you are using each of these finishes.

Some finishes play very nicely together. Personally, these are not two finishes I would combine.

NO ?. Polished nickel looks good ONLY with more polished nickel.

A bath has fewer opportunities for mixing finishes really well - it isn't like a kitchen.

The warm brass tone? Fine! That too is good all alone as plumbing, and yes there are great lights that combine both black and brass tones, and those will exist in cabinet hardware as well.

Know one thing? Nobody ever made an ugly bath with chrome. A forever finish in any style.

We don't know enough about the REST of your bath. That means .......vanity finish, flooring, shower, tub and all else. Style. flavor. All

Polished nickel AND the golden tone look great on white, or a color. Less great by a lot on wood tones.

Thank you for your comments. I'll be more specific. Bathroom is 21' x 16'. Lavatory will have 2 sinks separated by a cabinet tower. Free standing tub in alcove is 11' from the sinks, and walk-in shower is 19' from the sinks. Lavatory will be white quartz. Floor and shower walls will be Daltile 12" x 24" Diamond Carrara porcelain. Shower floors will be marble Carrara Chateau Basket Weave. Cabinets will be painted in a soft pastel color (blue grey). We think the Honey Bronze finish from Top Knobs for hardware looks great with the painted cabinets. In our opinion, all chrome is too 'cold' looking. We want to use the honey bronze/satin brass/brushed gold finish (whatever you want to call it) on the hardware, 8 wall sconces, 3 mirrors, towel bars and rob hooks. The question is, do we use the same honey bronze finish on the plumbing (2 sink faucets, tub and shower plumbing) or could we mix polished nickel finish on all plumbing with the honey bronze/satin brass/brushed gold on the hardware, sconces, mirrors, etc?
