It is called seeking multiple opinions and is a smart thing to do whether the professional is a doctor, lawyer, or stone fabricator. Does your fabricator have a lot of experience with Danby?

thanks for the response. I did reach out to a different fabricator who said it could be done. Issue is we've already paid the fabricator for the stone so it looks like I'm stuck with no recourse for getting what we want. Hopefully this doesn't annoy us to no end. They said it was mostly a transport issue that would cause the breakage due to it being transported on edge.

"Done onsite" WHO does THAT? No one with a decent OSHA compliant shop. Only a fly by nighter does on site.

Are you sure what you're seeing all over the internet is mitered and not just 5cm marble?

Is your marble 2 cm or 3 cm slabs?

What edge does he do? Laminated(built-up)?

No one cuts and miters stone on site.
