Yes, I’m aware the vanity is not minimalist. However, a powder room is generally where a home can deviate and be a little louder/different than the rest. I like the vanity, hence the reason I created the poll. Wasn’t asking if people liked it or not.

I really love them both. I pick black combo because it makes the hardware stand out more and the top is more striking.

Obviously this was important information for you to relate: "I gravitate towards more minimalistic/scandinavian style." or you wouldn't have bothered to say that. I agree that your choice (it's the same vanity, just slightly different color) will not look as if it belongs in the house, if indeed you are in fact furnishing your house in a minimalistic/scandinavian style. It's nothing to do with whether or not I or anyone else likes it.

You haven’t shared your tile choices. If you are going with something similar to your photos, then I vote black.

Since you posted the green, how would it relate to your tile choices?

We won’t have any tile in the powder room. Our wood floors are throughout the entire main level of our home, including the powder room. Walls are also alabaster in there but I may add wallpaper.

Then, you can’t go wrong with either. Green is trending now.

I love the black but think the green could really work with wood floors.

Not sure that Alabaster is the best paint color for the walls.

That is not how alabaster looks in our home at all. It looks white as we are in the PNW.

The alabaster will likely look warmer when it's placed directly next to the bright white countertop that comes with the vanity.

I imagine minimalist to have less moulding on the front and be “plain” in some ways. Here are a few you might consider.

Wood, for sure, can look very clean and minimalist

Wood is actually my first choice but I’ve had a hard time finding a wood vanity that I like that is 42 inches. I’ve found many that are 36 and 48. I looked at that same one at west elm and would’ve purchased it had it been 42 inches.

Here are 42” wood ones. I picked the ones that felt the most “minimalist”. They’re all on Build.com. Put that in the width requirement and that’s all you will get.
