The house looks yellow in the photos? What are you wanting to change about the deck? Material? Size? Add a roof?

Old photo - it has been repainted to a dark green - roof has been replaced i dont have a current photo. I would like to upgrade the look keeping the same size without a roof. any suggestions?

I am wondering if you have considered changing your entry door position.

I would replace the picture window with a large entry door with side lights and fill in the existing entry door. Build a deck of composite material across the front of the house for more outdoor living.

Yes, I agree with @RedRyder changing the front steps to be a longer deck or front porch will create a beautiful space.
