I am in the middle of remodeling my kitchen, on a budget. My current cherry colored cabinets look a little worn from being bumped in into and nicked by stuff, and the countertops are old looking and outdated white laminated.

What I thought about doing is getting the Cabinet Transformations kit and going with a similar cherry color, and then using the charcoal color Countertop Transformations kit on the counters. Do you all think this will look good?

How well does this stuff actually work? Is it durabale on coutertops and cabinets? Is it hard to apply, and do the results look professional?
