This color is very similar to Amherst Gray by Benjamin Moore with the trim being Brillian White.

I tried the Amherst Gray on my own home and it had more of a green undertone than what it appears in this image.

Try the Cabot solid stain in Pewter Gray.

if this is hardie board...then isn't it pre-painted? looks like woodstock brown maybe? why would they use a ben moore color on hardie?

Not all hardie comes prepainted. You can buy it primed.

I am currently painting my house Amherst Gray (Benjamin Moore) and it looks very similar to the house pictured. I am using hardie board & batten and shakes. Our material was primed not pre-painted. If you like a color with a brown/khaki look, consider Tawny Taupe by Sherwin Williams. We have friends who are painting their lake house that color and it is gorgeous! Good Luck!
