• Comment: Entertain in style with this elegant new Woodbridge Regency drinks table. The round solid wood table is crafted Woodbridge Furniture Company, with a hand-waxed and rubbed mahogany veneer. The 19-inch-wide round top is veneered in mappa burl, enhancing the shaped apron and prettily turned legs that complete the 19th century English Regency style design. The galleried or recessed top and lower shelf are super-practical too, to prevent glasses or bowls of snacks and olives slipping off the edge.

The term Regency refers to furniture from the early 1800s in England, as George IV acted as Regent for his father, George III, whose sanity was questionable. Ormolu mounts, military and classical motifs mix with Hepplewhitees shield back chairs and square tapered legs to create a British interpretation of the Empire style.
