Deana’s Story… I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and use my 30 plus years of combined: education, work, & life experience to… Help others who are “design challenged”; Or who “don’t have the time” to pull it all together. I am a family oriented “Mompreneur”; who welcomes the various Challenges in my life that both sides have to offer, while resolving the creative solutions & reaping the rewarding benefits! My hobbies and activities include dancing, walking, yoga, beaching, biking, crafting, and baking. Most of all, spending quality time with my family either watching or playing sports and of course family movie night! My industry experience ranges from: Fashion & Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail, Wholesale, & Corporate Environments. I’m so lucky I found Dee because she’s a wizard at creating an illusion of space in small spaces and has a keen eye for marrying classic style with some modern flair. Deana was so patient with us as she gave my teenage daughter and I ideas for her new bedroom. I have a problem with putting furniture that crowds the room but with a special program she has, Deana was able to show me where each piece of furniture could be best placed in the room. I was blown away by her expertise and decorating skills. My daughter loves her new room and she's not easy to please!

“The business I had to purchase my cabinets from had a designer that was supposed to help me design my kitchen. However, I didn’t know what she was saying half of the time when we spoke. Therefore, I hired Deana; not only did she take the time to explain to me their terminology, but she also came up with the brilliant idea for the refrigerator cabinet that I had wanted. The lady from the store was saying it comes in one standard size and Deana told her what they had to do in order to make it work for me! When I moved into my condo I was very overwhelmed with decisions. Working with Deana has always been a pleasure, she’s able to find out what my vision is, with just a few easy questions. She helped me choose and coordinate paint colors, cabinets, counter tops, flooring, backsplash and accessories for my kitchen. Deana also helped me with my open flow concept to coordinate the adjoining dining room and living room! When I look at the rooms she helped me create, all I see is exactly what I wanted!

My husband and I added a Mother/Daughter dormer to our home and needed guidance from a professional with all the new construction madness. We purchased the “Design With You” package so that we were guaranteed to have a designer in our back pocket for all the little details and decisions we had to make along the way. We mainly needed help with the kitchen, bathroom, and main bedroom. Deana was able to attend a couple meetings with the contractor to help us translate some of the contractor jargon into layman’s terms. She also assisted with a lot of the decision making of the wall placements (to fit my daughter’s furniture), lighting outlets, window and closet placement, and especially the decorative decisions. She put together a “Mood Board” for us to imagine the theme of the rooms with the tiles, fixtures, paint, window treatments, and even some accessories. We couldn’t have gotten through this renovation without Deana’s professional advise, and her friendly patient personality!
