LP Smartside is great product. It cuts and mills like wood. The trim is solid and stable. We've always struggled with fiber cement trim (it always seems so fragile). The smart side trim is great!

We love the LP SmartSide product for its durability as well as a company who stands behind it's product and warranty. My rep here in Houston is John D, I get to work with face-to-face on occasion is great to work with and very knowledgable and helpful. The project photo we've included is of a LP SmartSide Triple 4" 120 Series Lap Siding installed on a gable of a home in Spring Texas, north of Houston. This was a partial replacement and we had to match the existing siding. We painted it with two coats of Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint and it looks great! The workers love working with the product. We used LP Smartside as the siding, trim, fascia, and soffit panels for the construction of our new home. It was very easy to install, and after 5 years, we haven't had any problems with color fades, chips in the finish or siding, or movement of the product. For maintenance, it's a smooth swipe of the broom to get any spiderwebs off. I love the Smartside color palette as well!
