Michele was a complete pleasure to work with. She combines expertise with extreme patience and a sunny disposition. She helped us make all the tile choices building a house which would have been overwhelming without her, and we’re thrilled with how it all came out. We would highly recommend her.

It was very fortunate for us that we walked into Cabot House when we did. We were greeted by Michele who was professional, polite and full of knowledge. We had her come to the house and assist us in decorating our living room. I say we were fortunate because she had so much experience and knowledge. We had been to many furniture stores and not one employee came close to the kind of service she provided. You could see she was passionate about what she does. She didn't come off like she "had" to work...…she truly enjoyed working with us. There are so many places you go now a days where the employees give off that feeling of unhappiness with their jobs. Michele never once made us feel like we were putting her out of her way. You could see and sense she truly enjoyed doing what she does. It would be so great if everywhere you went there were people like Michele waiting to assist you. The results were gorgeous. We just recently received the furniture and it looks absolutely beautiful.

By far the best decorator I have ever engaged. I found Michele to be cordial, no-nonsense, fun, efficient very thorough, and extremely detail oriented. My project involved a Florida condominium. I must confess, I was completely bewildered until I met with Michele. She was able to work efficiently and effectively with me in ferreting out my innermost thoughts. (I didn't know what I truly wanted).) She reviewed the interior architectural renderings, framed everything for me and at the outset put me at ease, As it turned out, the out-of-state project suddenly returned to being fun! I am a senior lady and she guided me with not only the furniture selections, the fabrics...right down to the pillows too. The floor selection, paint colors and even suggestions for the interior wall décor. I am thrilled. I would go out of my way to utilize her services again.

We would highly recommend Michele Hagen to family and friends for her quality of ideas, professionalism and responsiveness. In terms of ideas, Michele has worked with us on the entire first floor of our home, and struck a nice balance between working with our existing colors and furnishings while guiding us in sourcing new items. She'd be great for staging or a complete redesign in this regard. Each individual suggestion (be it a color, furnishing or home accessory) was framed with 1) her overall concept for the specific space and 2) a fundemantal of interior design, such as tiered height or proper spacing of wall art. As a professional, Michele is organized, punctual and articulates her ideas extremely well. At the end of each consultation, she does a nice job of highlighting our own client to-dos in order to keep our project on the timeline we desire. Finally, she is very responsive to phone and email queries as we exchange ideas to put our space together. Additionally, she encourages very brief stopovers to take a look at samples in our space before we make a full purchase. In our case, she'd suggested a few rugs and paint colors, and wanted to first view the samples with us. Overall, excellent quality and value and we would not hesitate to refer her.

I hired Michele to help me decorate my new home. Moved from a small house to a large open floor plan home with tall ceilings and a 20ft high great room. I wanted to utilize as much of my existing furniture / colors as possible. Michelle has been a pleasure to work with. She has an amazing sense of style, color, texture and height awareness. Michelle works within my budget. She is savvy about finding a less expensive options for an item so I can use the saved money on an item (rug, furniture or accessory) that the room really needs. She has visited my home numerous times. We started out with just ideas, colors and concepts. Then once pieces we had ordered started coming in, we met at my home to keep working forward. She will be coming again soon to pick out paint colors and do the finishing touches. Michele is very dependable. She can easily be reached via email or cell phone and she is quick to return calls. I highly recommend Michele. She is not overbearing. She has really made this a fun process.

Michele was very enthusiastic and pleasant to work with. She was very patient and knowledgeable when helping me to find the right furniture for our condo. Michele was prompt with her estimates and ordering items for us . She also worked tirelessly with me for several hours over a period of a few days looking at many fabrics from different manufacturers in order to complete the project in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the experience with Michele and highly recommend her for her design sense and easy to work with style.

Michele worked with me to furnish my living room, including window treatments. Her greatest skill is taking the time to understand and identify the taste of her clients. She is respectful, patient, and supportive. Once she targets the direction of the project, she is generous with ideas and time. Her taste is excellent and eclectic. She is not reluctant to present several options and is always cognizant of budgetary constraints. I am pleased to have the opportunity to give her the highest of recommendations.

Michele is a true professional and I enjoyed working with her on selecting furniture for my new courtyard-patio. She has helped me with several decorating projects, and has a keen eye for style. Michele knows how to work with color, scale, texture, and lighting to design inviting and comfortable rooms. She is very dedicated to her work and when we meet she has a folder filled with pictures of furniture and decorating ideas specifically for my home. She is extremely intuitive and always understands the look I am trying to create, but at the same time she is practical in terms of budget and with selecting products that will withstand my busy family. On this most recent project Michele suggested a collection that would give me the look that I want for a reasonable price. She recommended adding tables from a second collection that offered additional options (glass tops) because she didn't want the seating area to appear too heavy and dark. Michele was also very patient with me, as I changed my mind about fabric and finishes several times. I highly recommend Michele Hagen.
