Orlando Comas is the founder and principal landscape architect of Comas Design Group, Inc. An award winning studio offering the foundation services of an outdoor space design which includes hardscape design such as pools, water features,grading and drainage, irrigation design and landscape lighting. Inspite his 50 years designing, he is nimble in his practice and has a keen understanding of what it takes to aesthetically meeting the client’s style. Mr. Comas designed all the outdoor environments of my home. He designed pool, decks, dock, driveway, water features and all the landscape and irrigation system. We are extremely pleased with the results and recommend him highly as a landscape architect.

Mr Comas has worked with us on many projects, not only for our private homes through the years, but our business as well. He has exquisite taste and great knowledge of all plants, as our hot and humid weather in south Florida requires plants adapted to this environment, or natives which do best. He brings his own people to do the work which have always been the best gardeners, easy to talk to, and eager to please any particular request. A beautiful garden can demand a big cost so Mr Comas always presents a detailed list of prices, and looks for similar substitutes for less in case one plant is found to be too expensive. Highly recommended.

We have provided Orlando Comas with plant material for his jobs for over 20 years now. As he typically accompanies his clients to our nursery for plant selection, I have had the opportunity to see how he interacts with the client as well as the supplier. He is attentive to his clients wishes and will make changes to be sure they are completely satisfied. I think one of the things that I appreciate most is his desire to use less common plants in his designs. The jobs that Orlando designs and oversees stand out for all the right reasons. Furthermore, his attention to proper plant selection and placement assure that the landscape will become more beautiful as it matures. If I was considering a landscape architect for my own home, his name would be at the top of the list.
