Kate is the best! Absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped us with our kitchen, mud room, and bathrooms. She takes into account all your ideas and opinions and works with you to give you the best options. Kate can handle any obstacle that may arise (and there were a few). Communication was excellent, she kept in touch with us and also with the contractor and helped move the project along as quickly as possible. Everything turned out amazing. I would highly recommend her for any project.

We were introduced to Pear Tree Design Group through our general contractor for our complete home renovation project. We are extremely happy with what Kate was able to do and how easy she made it for my wife and I. Kate walked us through the remodel from start to finish as well as continued support after the project was completed. She worked with our contractor to make sure the project matched the vision. I normally don’t write reviews but after thinking back about the renovation process I realized we couldn’t have accomplished this without her expertise and attention to detail. Working with Kate is a delight. My only complaint is that we only have one kitchen to work with her on, and it's so beautiful now it won't need work with her on another kitchen for some time! She was patient with us as we worked through options, but also provided guidance to make sure we didn't end up with something too trendy, or too specific. Everyone who has seen the kitchen loves it as much as we do. We started with a very cold and modern kitchen from the early 90's, and now we have a warm inviting space where all of our guests want to be. Looking forward to finding other projects to work on with Kate in the future!

Kate was fantastic at all stages: ideation, finalizing, implementation and improvising. Our kids bathroom was an oversized mess that Kate made quick sense of. She showed us multiple designs which gave us everything we needed to to move forward with. Kate not only listened to what we were looking for but helped guide/direct us when we needed it. You won't find a better partner to help you on your project!

I have used Pear Tree on three separate major projects over the last 15 years: master bath, kitchen, and basement remodels. Dealing directly with an architect who has access to a variety of construction professionals assured us that we were in good hands. In addition we found all the people we worked with to be reasonable, flexible, and pragmatic.

Kate did a great job of overseeing our kitchen project from start to finish. Helping with the initial design, then communicating with all the people involved in the project until the end. And being on-site during the construction to help with decisions that needed to be made at the moment. Kate was always responsive to my 100's of questions so quickly. If she didn't know the answer, she would research it right away and get back to me quickly with a response. Can't wait to do the Master Bath next!

Kate did an amazing job helping us with a master bathroom renovation. Kate took care of all the measurements and ordering all the custom pieces. She shopped with us and shopped on our behalf, she truly took care of everything. She brought along a team of expert contractors that were polite and did excellent work. Kate stopped in nearly every day to see how the work was going. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to work with her.

Color pallet selection, countless hours working with us and aligning on projects with both live examples AND technology enabled examples brought our WHOLE HOUSE project to life. Kate is super knowledgeable and has a wonderful eye for design and detail. My ideas and tastes are all over the map and I was having a hard time honing in on a layout and furniture pieces that would make my awkward shaped family room feel cohesive and cozy. Kate met with me several times and listened to my concerns and ideas then delivered a plan with a range of options for me to choose from. She is wonderful and a delight to work with! We tore down a wall beteeen our kitchen and dining room and made a large kitchen. Pear Tree Design group made this so much fun! I do not like to do home projects because I’m not very good at it. They simplified the process and saved us a ton of money!

Sue and Kate do an excellent job! They will handle every detail of the project from start to finish. I have worked with them on several projects in my home including my kitchen and bathrooms. The finished results are amazing, and far better than anything I could have achieved on my own.
