I am very happy to write this review for PKB Design, LLC. I have worked with Penny at PKB Design on two earlier projects and was completely satisfied. I was confident that Penny would be able to help me take my newest vision to reality. This project would be by far the most complicated and challenging. Penny was not intimidated. She immediately was able to take my vision of how this two-family outdated Craftsman house could be recreated into a modern one-family home with an open living space while including features for handicapped access. The results are stunning, very modern, comfortable and extremely livable. Penny worked from my ideas and dreams to develop the design for a totally new layout in the small space available in a 100-year-old house. Once the layout was accomplished, she worked with me for doors, hardware, windows, cabinetry, and flooring that would all work together throughout the house. Then we moved on to select paint, tile, and lighting. Everything was planned before demolition even began. Penny monitored the progress regularly during the massive reconstruction process including an addition. She worked easily with the builders and the engineer throughout. The result is a whole house that is beautiful, tasteful, comfortable, and just the way we wanted it. It flows and it's functional. It's so convenient. We could not be happier with the result. Penny "gets" the idea of what the homeowner wants and works to present ideas, evaluate reactions and then work with the homeowner and construction team to create a result that is 100% pleasing. Ours was a massive project that took one year to complete. It looks just like the plans, and it is perfect. I highly recommend PKB Design for any project, whether large or small.

We were doing some remodeling, and I was completely overwhelmed by all the choices. I turned to PKB Design for help. Penny guided me through the process. She asked questions, and listened to what I wanted. Penny, and everyone at PKB Design were wonderful to work with. We love how our house looks.

Penny at PKB Design was awesome! I hired her for a new design of my living room. I wanted to get the best design of my space. Besides the new furniture layout, my design included new stone over my fireplace and bringing it to the celling with new built ins on each side. It is show stopper!! Penny is very professional, knowledgeable and a delight to work with.

PKB Designs helped with some of the interior designs at 231 Main Street. We had been looking to make a change and give the interior an updated look. We were pleased with their sevices.

Hired PKB Design to help us with designing/outfitting our new home built on one of NY’s Finger Lakes. We had no experience in home building/design and were starting from scratch. Penny worked closely with our architect, listened carefully to our preferences and observed our choices in our current home. Given the difficulty we had envisioning our new environment, Penny was able to virtually “read our minds”. We are delighted with the results: Kitchen layout, cabinet choices, windows and coverings, paint colors and tiles and flooring. We have exactly what we wanted – gorgeous views and a great open and inviting space. Highly recommend PKB Design if you want amazing results!

PKB delivered all that I asked for and more. They were very patient with me and my timeline. Their step by step professional process kept me on task. They were a pleasure to work with. I am so happy I decided on them to help me with refreshing flooring, wall color, furnishings and draperies for my beautiful foyer, living and dining rooms.

We have used PKB Design on a basement remodel, kitchen remodel and a new build residential home. We also used PKB Design to remodel commercial office space (law office). Penny is awesome to work with. She has great ideas and has a keen eye for detail. She has the vision and can see the end result. We have always enjoyed working with Penny and have gotten wonderful feedback from others who have seen her work. I would highly recommend PKB Design.

I am very happy to write this review for PKB design LLC! We own a small grocery store and wanted to remodel the upstairs into an apartment for our family. We hired Penny to work with an engineer to come up with the design. It is a large space with very little room for structural changes. Penny's design was amazing! She was able to fit all of our needs in the space, made it modern and functional! Why did we not carry through with the project? We had another business opportunity so we put the funds into that instead. We would not hesitate to hire PKB Design again!

Worked with PKB Design two times. First in 2010 for paint colors, tile and lighting. Wonderful results. Next time was in 2012-2013 for furniture, window treatments and bedding, floor coverings, art work and accessories all designed to work in my small space. I could not be happier with the results. Penny and crew are easy to work with and "get" the idea of what the home owner wants. They present ideas, evaluate reactions and then work with the homeowner as they create the plan to be sure that he/she is completely satisfied on the way to the final result. Each time a visitor enters my home they rave over the place. It's because it's beautiful and tasteful. It flows and it's functional. And it's just what I wanted. Very professional team to work with. I highly recommend PKB Design for big or small jobs.

PKB Design provided window treatments for my uncle's house after it was flooded in 2011. They made excellent recommendations, offered a wide variety of choices, and delivered and installed the window treatments in a timely manner. I would definitely use their services again.

Hired as a kitchen designer for a new house. Very professional, and the end result was exactly what I wanted. She asked questions about our lifestyle that allowed her to include and exclude items in the kitchen that worked for us.
