It was a pleasure working with Wilson Kelsey Design on a kitchen remodel for which we painted their clients kitchen cabinets. We were very impressed with Sally’s eye for design and project management. She thoughtfully made the kitchen more functional as well as beautiful, all while keeping the project timeline on track. I had a number of design issues to address in a smal Boston apartment. Initially, I contacted Wilson Kelsey for a color consultation which I needed in a hurry. Sally came within the week. She had no problem picking up where another professsional left off. One thing led to another and she recently redid a bathroom for me. She is outstanding with color and design. She is knowledgeable, experienced and has access to many good resources. Of equal importance, she is a woman of great integrity. Sally was really helpful and supportive throughout the bathroom rehab process. We work together well. I hired Wilson Kelsey in the fall of 2011. and am still involed with that Company.

Every morning we wake up and are grateful all over again that we had the blessing to work with John Kelsey and Sally Wilson. John and Sally were the architects and stylists behind the renovation of our kitchen, office, family room, mud room and pantry. To say that we love their work is an understatement. We love it every day. When we walk into the space they created for us, we feel at peace, grounded, serene, joyful, strengthened. Their final product was pure magic, and every detail sparkled. From the hand-painted finishing of the floor, to the Jerusalem tiles on the wall, to the gorgeous marble, to the glass table at the end of the kitchen island, with a ceramic tile design at the heart, to the four snappy red leather chairs, to the pantry they created out of nothing—every detail sings, and together, their work makes us happy every day. But it was not only the end product that we loved. We loved working with them. They are organized, dependable, perfectly punctual, on schedule, easy to work with, flexible, gracious. Our only regret after we completed our project was that our meetings with John and Sally were coming to a close. We loved them, and their work so much, that to get our John and Sally fix, we decided to ask them to help us renovate our bathroom too. John Kelsey and Sally Wilson of Wilson Kelsey Design have proven themselves as invaluable partners in one of our recent projects. They were responsible for assisting our client, who built a new home in Metro West Boston, in the design and selection of all the interior aspects of this 7400 sq. ft. French country style home. Wilson Kelsey proved themselves to be a true team player, working through educating the client and guiding them through the myriad of choices involved in building a new home. They were able to remain on point and keep the decisions moving forward. Their design aesthetic is impeccable! The quality of the design and the follow through was executed perfectly. They worked constantly to help educate the client in design and selection and the integration of all the parts to deliver a beautiful project equal to any of the finest homes in Metro West. We are looking forward to working again with John and Sally as team members as we have enjoyed their expertise and company through our current project.

Choosing to work with WKD was the single best decision we made when we restored and renovated our historic 1804 federal house. Sally and John far exceeded our expectations for staying on budget, meeting deadlines, delivering modern comforts and aesthetics while masterfully showcasing original architecture, successfully problem solving every challenge, networking to find expert resources, exhibiting the highest professionalism and being able to work extremely well with everyone (they were our voice). The scope of our project entailed WKD taking the house from a totally gutted condition to its final finishes and décor. This included the design of a new kitchen and powder room, design of a new entry/portico/walkway/driveway that paid homage to the original owner's heritage, a challenging new staircase, design of a new fireplace mantel and cabinetry, selection of hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting locations and fixtures, tile, floor stain, furniture, window treatments, wallpaper and paint, rugs and art framing. WKD acted as interior and architectural designers. This project was completed while we lived out of state; our confidence in John to monitor the overall facets of the total construction was very well placed. WKD kept us informed about every detail. Sally and John's positive energy, creativity, respect and off the chart talent, made every interaction with them exciting and rewarding. We are absolutely thrilled with our new home. We hired Wilson Kelsey Design to remodel and re-decorate two rooms. The results have been wonderful. John and Sally have created warm, comfortable and inviting spaces that we gravitate to, and love to be in. One of the rooms was an office/study which was functional but not a space that attracted us. The other was a living room that we used sparingly. After their work, we find ourselves spending more time in these rooms, and enjoying the experience more. Their re-design of a built-in bookcase and a fireplace surround, their selection of materials, fabrics, and colors have transformed these rooms into warm, wonderful spaces.

I recently complete a luxury master bath project with Wilson Kelsey Design. The talent of both John and Sally is shown throughout the thoughtful and well appointed space we created. The synergy that the the two have is evident in everything they do. Our client interviewed three other designers and once they met with John and Sally, they knew this is who they wanted to work with.
