Looking for bathtub selection advice

I'm planning a bathroom remodel, including replacing the existing tub (estimated to be 40+ years, rusting and leaking by the overflow). I don't want to ever have to replace it again, so I want something durable, that can stand up to kids, teenagers, dogs getting bathed in it, etc., but also for me to be able to take long, deep soaks in it when my back and joints are killing me. Looking at 60"Lx32"W tubs. Because I'm short, I don't want the tub to be TOO tall to step over (or to lift a recalcitrant 60lb+ dog over and into for a her bath) - but I do want a deeper soak.

Which material is best for my purpose? Acrylic, Americast, Vikrell, or Cast Iron?

Tubs I'm considering:

Jacuzzi Linea, 15" soak depth, 17.5" height, made of acrylic

Kohler Archer, 15" soak depth, 19" height, made of acrylic

American Standard Cambridge, 14" soak depth (16" soak depth with optional deep soak drain), 17.75" height, made of americast;

Sterling Lawson, 15.25" soak depth, 20.31" height, made of Vikrell

Kohler Tea-for-Two, 13.625" soak depth, 18.25" height, made of cast iron

Thoughts? Which would you choose (or not choose), and why?
