Certainly almost anything that likes sun and isn't too tall would work in that space, though you might want to move the azaleas to the front of the bed.

However. it's not just a garden spot. It's foundation planting and a person would really want to see the entire house to know how that spot fits in with the entire placing of the house in its setting.

Just to add, the larger shrub and the three to its left are much too close to the house. Nothing should be touching the house and nothing should be under that bay.
