No dining room

Hi I am downsizing into a smaller cape with 12 x 12 living room and 9 x 10 kitchen. Kitchen is too small for four people to dine. How May I incorporate living dining in this 12 x 12 living room? Tv does not have to be in room. There is centered single double hung window on north side and three Windows on west side for nice afternoon sun. This is a cape from 1958 so entry opens to living room with staircase right in front of you. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

You might like a gate leg table that easily folds down to very small. Ikea has one that folds down to only 8”x30”, and easily opens up for seating up to 6. If ikea isn’t your style, then you can find a lot of other styles on Wayfair etc.
