Primary Bedroom, a work in progress

Im back again looking for advice. I recently got rid of our ginormous king sleigh bed and replaced with a smaller scale upholstered headboard and frame. Due to the weight of the dressers and nightstand I decided to keep those pieces however i would like to paint several or all for a lighter look to work more with the bed frame which i guess is a sea drift finish (close up pic of nightstand with bed frame). The dresser is directly across from the bed. I did buy new hardware and honestly i dont mind an eclectic mix furniture Since husband likes the wall color, that will remain and updating wall art, decor etc in the works
As far as painting the furniture, should I paint all for more harmony (I’ve chalked painted some other pieces in our home with the sea driftfinish), just the pieces next to the bed? Any guidance truly appreciated

I rearly like painted furniture it always looks country to me so is that the direction youa re going into style wise? Maybe black might work but for sure differnt pulls those do not IMO work with the bed even in style .

I would not paint them the same color. I would also leave the top of one the existing color to make it look more curated over time.

Mirrors behind the lamps would be a nice addition.

Thank you for the mirror suggestion and I also like your idea of leaving the top in the same finish. Toying with maybe just painting the end tables and leave the dresser as is. The top of the nightstand is damaged, hubbys snore machine leaked water or steam all over it! Thank you again for your comments

Oh dear, I really like the colour of the sleigh bed. It makes the paint and your bedside tables look lovely. Any chance you could just remove the footboard and attaché the old headboard to the wall. We did that with our wooden headboard and just got a simple bed skirt for the foot. It turned out great for us.

No, we couldnt detach the footboard which is what I originally wanted to do, all attached to the frame. The other issue, temperpedic mattress which would have made it tough with a bed skirt

I was in a hurry yesterday when I replied to your comments. I did get new artwork and as stated earlier, I’m on the hunt for nightstands. You mentioned lamps, any suggestions on style,color? Thank you

We might not paint the pieces you already have. It's good that you're looking at some new artwork and lamps. You could look at sconces or pendant lights as well. Here are few that might interest you:
