what grey roof shingles go with white paint

I'm building a home that is a gothic farmhouse design and trying to decide on a clean white paint, maybe SW Pure White or perhaps a very light gray/green color. I'm mostly having trouble deciding on the roof shingles, rather to go with light gray, med gray, or charcoal. Any suggestions?

Context is key and there is more to a home in the way of colors than the roof and the white siding.

Gray singles (medium to light) always look good on a house. It has always struck me as the most “neutral”.

Hi, did you ever land on a light grey shingle roof? I’m looking myself and Shasta white is now discontinued and it is the most white/silver/light grey I have found and liked
