For those who have ordered a custom color for their kitchen cabinets, how was your experience? Did the color look the way you expected once installed? How did you try out candidate colors? Have you had any issues matching the color to touch up dings or scratches?

Color matches will always depend on who is doing the color match, and what brand of professional coating is being used. The chemistries and sheen levels are not the same between wall paint and a cabinet coating, so they will never be exactly the same.
