Our first project with Wendy was an extensive master bed/bath remodel. We were so pleased with her eye for design that we refurnished our family room, repainted our DR and completely redesigned our LR. She has pushed us outside our comfort zone mixing patterns that suit our personality while elevating our style. She is creative and can work with a variety of budgets. I don't have many projects left but won't hesitate to use her in the future.

Wendy was not only incredibly professional and has an amazing eye for colour and design but was incredibly personable. She was able to take all of my crazy "likes and wants" and combine them into a cohesive design style. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with her design/ colour knowledge as well as her respect for our budget constraints. She came up with some creative design solutions that matched our budget. We are without a doubt going to use her again as we move onto phase two of our remodel project.

I recently decided that I needed to add some safety features to my bathroom. After discussing this with 509 Design, I decided to do a complete remodel. 509 Design gave me a design that removed the tub and replaced it with a walk in shower. They also added features like a fold up seat, grab bar and slide bar showerhead in addition to updating with a new sink cabinet, flooring and tile. It was a small bathroom, but I am enjoying the new space. Alan & Wendy were easy to work with. They and their subs were stellar. I recommend them without hesitation.

Wendy was exactly the prescription for our ailing inspiration following purchase of our "new" 1969 home in 5 mile. In just two hours, our minds were set at ease and our direction clear - color palette, layout options, and even facade ideas for the exterior were provided. Results (including paint key with all codes & finishes needed) were sent via email the very same night. Money well-spent and we'll likely hire her again for help in the future.

We were more than pleased with Wendy's professionalism , restructuring and remodeling of our home. She had great ideas to make our home more functional and livable. She completed multiple projects while we were living in our home with confidence. Kept projects on budget and completed on time. We would hire Wendy again and do recommend her.

I have had the good fortune to work with Wendy Nolan from 509 Design since May of 2015. My husband and I bought our "forever" home in a town in Texas, a 15 year old 5900 sq ft home that had been unoccupied for a year. I had seen a good deal of Wendy's work through Facebook posts via mutual friends and I had heard how easy to work with she was. Easy to work with is an understatement. Wendy has created a complete vision for our home while keeping our specific requests and hopes at the forefront of her vision. Despite being in a different state, she has been able to stay in constant communication, utilize technology for meetings and design proposals, and find fantastic contractors for our home. I have a tendency to be emotional and Wendy has consistently and calmly talked me off ledges, walked me tirelessly through complicated aspects of the design and renovations, and happily accommodated any changes we have needed. I am particularly pleased with her ability to work within our budget and space changes out over time to create a quality product without compromise due to budgetary constraints. Our house is becoming our dream home under Wendy's expert guidance. Our confidence in her design choices has never been disappointed and in a tumultuous time of change, having such a big part of this process be EASY - being able to trust her completely - has been such a relief. For amazing vision, commitment and follow through as well as being incredibly easy to work with, Wendy Nolan of 509 Design has been the best decision we could have made. We are so happy!

Wendy at 509 Design assisted us in the transformation of our unfinished and unused basement into a warm and inviting family and entertaining space. She was able to translate our vision into real life design, helping with everything from flooring to the fireplace surround to furniture layout. Wendy was professional and responsive, and we enjoyed our experience working with her.

Lil Huckleberries is a dream. There is a gentle confidence in the experience that puts me at ease when giving decorating advice. She knows her stuff and anything she suggests I don't question because I trust her opinion. She started giving me decorating advice almost 7 years ago and I still use her suggestions. As a matter of fact, I shared her "go-to" paint color with my niece a few weeks ago. She was painting her in room in a beige and couldn't decide on a shade. I told her, without a doubt, to use the color Lil Huckleberries told me to use! She loves it! My mom loved it so much, she is using it in her house this spring! THANKS Lil Huckleberries !

Wendy at Lil' Huckleberries has been most thorough and patient as she worked with my husband and I to compile a design plan for two problematic rooms in our recently purchased, but dated (early '90's era) home. We struggled with a number of issues such as poor lighting, drab coloring, and unusual structural elements in these rooms. They were both blank slates and we were in desperate need of advice and inspiration. Following a detailed set of instructions for measurement and an in-depth personal style assessment, Wendy communicated with us to provide input on our specific likes and dislikes and followed through with a design plan that is flexible, appealing, and within our budget. I thoroughly enjoyed gathering pins for my Pinterest inspiration board to help guide her (and still do)! We are at a decision point at the moment to go with one color "theme" over another and have had great feedback regarding individual taste and functionality on the pieces we are considering. Wendy has been responsive and considerate, giving us a range of options for whichever direction we choose. I look forward to our continued work with her and recommend her without hesitation!

I hired Lil Huckleberries on an hourly basis to coach me through my materials selection and to offer some advice on furnishing when my husband and I decided to renovate our 1970's home from top to bottom. I am SO glad I did because it saved us so much time/money/and sanity(ha, ha!) I would recommend their services whole heartedly!! Very easy to work with and fabulous ideas!!!!
