Founded in 1961, Gary Andrews opened his carpet and furniture cleaning business serving the Tyler and East Texas area. By 1966, he began to offer carpet replacement and was on his way to becoming a multifaceted company offering many products and services. Andrews Carpets moved into its beautiful showroom at 2811 University Blvd. in 1973, featuring a wide selection of carpet, vinyl, ceramic, laminate and wood floors. In March of 2000, Andrews Carpets became affiliated with Flooring America.
