Best experience ever! We have used Dana Bass Designs for our Interior Design projects on two homes now - for the first house we did furnishings and our current home we built from the ground up where Dana Bass Designs did all the finishes and design and completed it with furnishings, including both of my girls' bedrooms. Dana and her team were there every step of the way through all the ups and downs of building. I keep walking around my beautiful house now and it is beyond my expectations - I'm still in shock! We made it 3 whole weeks after moving in before signing back on with DBD again to get started with the outdoors. We love the entire process and the magic of the end result is completely worth it! We just moved in a few weeks ago and it looks like we have lived here for years! The details are what we get the most compliments on and it for sure wasn't because of the builder!!

Dana was a dream to work with. She is so personable, creative, and professional, as is her entire team. We were introduced to Dana through two friends that had hired her to design areas in both of their homes. She was able to pick up their unique style and design an area that fit each of their different personalities. Since we had recently moved, we were looking for help in tying together the open living space in our home. Dana came to our house for the initial meeting to walk the space and get to know more about us and our style. A few weeks later she returned with gorgeous “boards” for each of the rooms, including items and suggestions to make them beautiful and unique. It was so fun selecting colors, fabrics and accents from the collection she provided. Install day was worth the wait! Seeing the vision become a reality was so exciting! We are thrilled with the beauty and functionality of what Dana created. The process was so smooth. Dana and her team are professional, communicative and go above and beyond to make sure it is done right. We will be calling Dana when we are ready to create our next space!

We hired Dana Bass to do our kitchen, laundry room, and guest bathroom remodel and we are so glad we did! Every time I go into our beautiful new kitchen, I smile. Dana's vision and expertise transformed a dark and dated kitchen into a beautiful and welcoming light-filled space. Communication is key in projects like these and Dana and her staff were prompt with answering our questions and working with us whenever problems arose. Extremely professional. We could not have asked for a better experience and result.

Dana Bass (DB Designs) has exceptional talents that will transform your home from “notable” to extraordinary. She listens carefully to understand your personal vision for the design project. In other words, she doesn’t try to force her view, and, in my experience, that is something that many professional designers do. At the end, your project will reflect your tastes but it will be enhanced because of her special abilities. Dana has exceptional taste and resources. When we could not find the perfect dining table at an acceptable price point, Dana went to work. She found a small craftsman near Fort Worth who did memorable artistic “live edge river” tables which is the look I wanted for my table. At one point, Dana drove the 30-40 miles to check on his work. She stayed there for several hours to make sure the table and the “river” of epoxy reflected my vision. At the end, a stunning table was delivered to my home at a price well below one I would have paid at a retailer. You will appreciate Dana’s abilities to assemble and combine fabrics and furniture that establish your home as comfortable but also as an enviable and dazzling place to live. Finally, she pays attention to budgets when making decisions. She’s a fabulous partner and advisor who is fair and transparent in her pricing and the design contract. A lot of people say, “I can’t afford a designer on this project.” My response is simple, “In my opinion, you can’t afford not to have someone like Dana Bass on an important remodel or design project.” She will add to the value and investment in the property because Dana Bass creates memorable, personal spaces. In the end, to paraphrase Dana’s slogan which is: Dream it. Live it. Love it. Her work will enable you to create the dream and then live and love your surroundings.

Dana was a godsend from start to finish. Building my first home, I found the selection process and all of the finishes overwhelming. Having someone who was educated, experienced and who knew my style and personal preferences made daunting appointments a breeze. Dana came up with designs that I would never have thought of yet they totally captured my style and the look I was after. We topped it off with furnishings and I LOVE spending time in my new home - it's a true reflection of exactly what I envisioned. I highly recommend Dana! Hire her - you won't be disappointed.

My law office needed a total makeover. Many colleagues of mine revamped their space using Dana Bass Designs, so I knew I could not go wrong. My needs were unique. Dana's work far exceeded my expectations. My offices were transformed while I was on vacation. I felt like I was on Extreme Makeover Home (office) Edition. My office is not only gorgeous, it is more functional. Also, a main piece was slightly defective (I didn't see but Dana's keen attention to detail noticed) so she sent it back for a new one. Everything is absolutely amazing. As for art, I saw a painting another lawyer had in her office and showed it to Dana. Dana single handily found the local artist and had a personalized piece of work done for my office.

We feel so lucky to have worked with Dana on our completely remodeled home. She was referred to us as being fun to work with, full of fresh ideas and organized at balancing the budget, the client’s desires and the management of moving parts (like working closely with the contractor & various dates/deadlines). Dana instantly had a vision on where walls should stay and go, & how we could best maximize our space for our family. She helped us create spaces that weren’t previously there — we now have a perfect work-from-home office (we created a wall for it), a spacious mud room to handle the many items of two little boys (converted from a tiny fourth bedroom), a designated play room (an unused sun/breakfast room), a private master bath (originally a bathroom open to the public hallway!), a large powder bath (previously the size of a broom closet), and an open kitchen with an island fit to host all kinds of parties (no longer a galley kitchen). Dana made it an easy design process by drawing up a few options for the floor plan that we could choose from, and then bringing over all options for the materials. We just sent her our Pinterest boards initially, and she took it from there to create our dream home. Our only suggestion is to hire her BEFORE you hire you contractor. We did the reverse, and now knowing how awesome her work and standards are, we wish we had just gone all in with Dana’s contacts instead. Our home has the right flow, feel and shine thanks to DBD!

For clarification, I cannot decorate. I have worked with decorators in the past, picking paint colors, buying new furniture here and there, and hanging artwork. I always had it done piece mill because there was never a vision of where "the space" could go. I didn't give any real thought to the room as a whole until a friend introduced me to Dana Bass, an Interior Designer. Dana came to our home for a consultation, asked us questions about how we lived and entertained, and provided us some feedback on a direction for the overall space. She also quoted us a flat design fee and a realistic budget to complete all the work. At our next meeting we reviewed the completed design where she provided us with a detailed plan for the room that included fabric, paint and wallpaper swatches, pictures of new furniture pieces, etc. The presentation helped me visualize what she was thinking and for the first time I could really picture the space and was excited. We didn't have to run all over town, she brought everything to us. When it came to installation, I never had to lift a finger. Dana arranged all the contractors, handled the furniture's delivery and installed the room entirely in one day. We could not be more pleased with the end result. A busy household with 2 children, we were looking for someone to help create and deliver a vision that connected with our passions, personalities and preferences. Having never worked with an interior designer before, we had no idea what to expect, but Dana was the best investment in our entire project. In the rare instance the construction teams executed outside the spirit of the project's design, Dana took the lead and professionally resolved the issue on our behalf. She was respectful of our budget and used a lot of furniture and accessories we already had, incorporating them seamlessly into our "new look". Dana Bass has been the greatest decorator/designer I have ever used. She helped to turn my home into exactly what I have always hoped it would be! I hired Dana Bass for a very large renovation project on our home two summers ago. We basically gutted the entire first floor and made an otherwise traditional home more contemporary. We redid our kitchen, Master Bathroom, Floors, and converted our office into a multi-purpose room with a Murphy bed. Dana Bass was not only extremely professional but has an amazing eye for detail. She is a Designer, not just a Decorator, and is extremely talented, knowledgeable and organized. She handled the construction crew, helped pick colors, tiles, paints, furniture, fabrics etc. We just used her again for our backyard renovation this past summer and she once again exceeded our expectations! She has an eye for landscaping and a very green thumb as well! Dana Bass is fair with her pricing, honest, a great communicator and problem solver, and a pleasure to work with. Worth every dollar!
