Sea and Pine is an award-winning interior design firm, specializing in residential design. We create one-of-a-kind designs from the Sea to the Sierras and are known for creating environments that are innovative and unique as well as focusing on the architectural integrity of a space. You’ll find us to be service-centered, quality focused and socially responsible. Dasha Hervey is a certified Kitchen and Bath designer and a certified Aging in Place Specialist. Our designs are about you. We pay close attention to the details; identifying how you live, work and play. Each home is a distinct design collaboration that reflects your passions and lifestyle. Dasha is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).

Dasha helped us with a full master bath remodel after we had a water leak in our shower. This was a large project that spanned 2 months given the size of the space and some of the redesigns (covering windows, removing tile-surrounded tub, etc..). Dasha met with us to understand our goals and design styles, brought fresh ideas, and was always open to tweak to find a balance. She has wonderful design insights and more importantly can present many options to you to generate the best outcome. Who knew about the different shower ledges, glass panel options, and tile edging! We were educated throughout this process and definitely feel current on design trends now LOL. Dasha is really easy to work with, accessible via phone and email, and is respectful in working with both my wife (for style) and myself (for function). We always found a balance and we LOVE our Master bath! I think one of the best things I enjoyed best was that Dasha knew where to find everything. When there are thousands of options, she can direct and guide you, listen and adjust, and re-guide you. You end up in the place you want to be, even if you never knew it even existed.

Dasha was simply fabulous to work with. I knew I was going to have a hard time making decisions regarding our condo renovation but, Dasha handled it like a pro. She gave me three options for various designs which was super helpful. I felt like I was still picking what I liked but, did not get bogged down reviewing too many options. All of the design options she presented could have worked perfectly since she really spends time understanding your style up front. Dasha is organized, easy to work with, and very experienced. She was always one step ahead. I really appreciated the fact that she always reviewed with me what I should expect in the next phase of our project. That was super helpful since this was my first renovation. I would definitely recommend Dasha for any small or large design project!

Dasha is professional, organized, has excellent follow-up and fabulous decorating ideas. I had some issues during my project due to my husband's illness and she worked around it coming up with varying suggestions and timeframes. Dasha is willing to work within your budget and tries to incorporate items you already own. I have worked with a lot of service providers since I purchased my home and Dasha is definitely at the top of the list. I felt like she was always incorporating my lifestyle into the decorating ideas. And......always has a smile on her face and in her voice!!

When my husband and I finally bought our dream home, we wanted someone to help us bring our long awaited vision to life. It is a 1968 remodeled manufactured home on the beach. As you can imagine, we were worried about finding a designer to take on our project because not everyone wants to put together a design concept for a tiny house. Dasha walked in and immediately picked up on our country roots. She helped us merge our farmhouse style with our new beach living! She worked in our budget and put together the most amazing plan. We still refer to it over a year later whenever we want to make a change to one of our rooms or spaces. Not only that, she’s always so approachable and kind when we’re feeling unsure and needing some hand holding. She helped remodel our friends spacious 5 bedroom home and did such an amazing job. I highly recommend her for any large or small project you have in mind.

DH Design was asked to help my home cohesively work together, blending color, form & functionality. We needed an update to enjoy the beauty & magic in every day life along with a relaxed sense of breezy beach living. Wow, Dasha’s well thought-out design created an environment to match our beachy lifestyle. The white bead boarding in the living room covering a 2 story wall along with shelving that features our poster size black & white photos turned our home into our own unique personal style. This is just one of the many creative things that gave our home a timeless design with functional style and simple sophistication! Love it!

Dasha did a great job for me. It was a small job, just helping me with paint colors for two bedrooms and my office. But I really like what she suggested, and she also recommended casings for around my guest bedroom window, which I LOVE. Dasha is personable, professional, and responds quickly to requests.
