We experienced proper planning before execution of a job to avoid mistakes....while also being able to manage any revisions that may come up during the process. Communication in these moments are critical, and we always comfortably trusted his professional opinion. He was kind and strong with his trades to make sure the job is done right. He thrives on allowing his trades to perfect their jobs so they walk away proud of their work, while also giving his clients a finished product beyond their expectations. This is RARE. Matthew has done numerous jobs for me over the years. He always is meticulous holding to a very high aesthetic and functional standard. Matthew Vincent built out our medical clinic in just under 2 months time. He was always upfront with all costs and made sure to run everything by us prior to making any changes and there were zero surprises on the final invoice. He had a great team working alongside him and he was constantly on site surveying the project. My husband and I hired Matthew after a very bitter experience with a “reputable” builder. Before deciding on him (after our bitter experience with the other company), I conducted extensive research I created a short list and started interviewing from my top 5 list... Matthew was such a refreshing experience - he was honest, transparent, responsive, professional and very, very knowledgeable! He presented us a detailed plan (consisting of a fixed portion and a variable portion), he recommended a great designer and started working as soon as we agreed on the scope. His team worked clean, they they were skilled, respectful, reliable, but more than anything they had Matt keeping a very close eye on them to make sure every detail is considered. We postponed our renovation for 6 years because we were afraid of everything that this process entails, but with Matt and his carefully selected team, everything went on smoothly (well, for us it was, I am sure it has been a tremendous amount of work at his end). With numerous general contractors and home builders available to choose from, we selected Matthew Vincent Building Group to begin construction on our new home located in Port Credit, Mississauga. Price, quality, attention to details, and lead time were all concerns of ours but they were able to fulfill all of our anxieties. Home renovations, in general, are not easy to manage while living in the house during the process. Matthew however made it possible, smooth and stuck to his planned schedule without compromising the quality of suppliers and sub-contractors. He is highly attentive to details and eager to fulfill his clients' requests with utmost respect and patience.
