NEDC did a major design and renovation on our house in 2024, centering around the kitchen. It's still amazing to me how much positive impact this project has had on our lives. The new open space is just a joy to be in, even when we're not cooking, but even more so when we are. We are grateful for Schneidee's guidance through the design phase, recommending so much we would never have thought of ourselves, and generally being sure the new space would work for us. And it was tremendously comforting to have someone of John's expertise and resourcefulness guiding us through construction. Both Schneidee and John were a real pleasure to work with. I must admit, I thought "lifting spirits with spaces" was just a nice slogan, but it is indeed a real experience we have everyday. Super happy and super grateful!

David and his entire team go above and beyond to ensure that their clients feel supported, heard, and in-the-know. I am a big believer in the design-build process and the protections it offers to the homeowner, and I've been consistently impressed by the beauty and function of our design as well as the team communication. NEDC did a great job from start to finish. They took the time and detail to understand what we were trying to accomplish with our space, and the whole process was extremely smooth.

They do very high quality work and take care of everything. They also operate with a lot of integrity and trustworthiness. When something doesn't go to plan, they take care of it. They do everything they can to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the work and that you are setup to enjoy it for a long time. This is hard to find in the construction business and is what sets NEDC apart, in my opinion. I can't imagine another design and build firm that is as professional, reliable and talented as NEDC. The team is very personable, passionate and just plain nice. And the end result is outstanding. Our entire family (pets included) is extremely satisfied, now and for the future, with what they created for us.

We undertook a major remodeling project with NEDC. We are overall very pleased with the outcome. We built our house 38 years ago and had one major remodeling 7 years later and one renovation 10 years ago. In addition, we had contractors to replace the roof, paint house, replace HVAC equipment, etc. The quality of the work performed by NEDC and its subcontractors was of high quality. We are particularly pleased with NEDC's stated vision and philosophy of taking ownership of problems and finding ways to amicably resolve them. We would definitely recommend NEDC to our friends looking to remodel their house. Communication was particularly excellent during the construction phase. We spoke several times a week with the project manager, either in person or via phone, email, or text. The project manager always gets back to us in a timely manner. We encountered several major problems during the construction phase. One of the problems was ordering of the wrong part, another was an unanticipated issue that wasn't discovered until after demolition. NEDC took ownership of the problems and resolved them to our satisfaction. There could be more and detailed communications and discussions during the design phase. We would also have liked to learn more about the specifics of the construction during design phase so we could anticipate and perhaps make changes in the design. There are things we wish we would have done differently after the construction is well on its way. We have seen visualization tools used by other design and build companies that would have been useful for us if they were available.

NEDC is the best construction to work with! You always hear horror stories about different construction companies, so if you want to avoid any troubles, you would want to use these guys! Project managers and supervisors are incredible; the office staff is super helpful and responsive! Dave(the founder) gathered the best of the best professionals in his company! You found the right place if you need quality, craftsmanship, and on-time delivery!

NEDC did a gut renovation of our house. The process with them was amazing from start to finish. From our first meeting with the president, Dave Supple, who inspected all corners of house and talked about our goals, to the wrap-up of the punch list with the project manager and lead designer, everything went exceedingly well. The process began with a series of broad design options and price ranges, then settled to one primary design during which we refined all the details and finalize the budget; then we moved onto all the material, appliance and finish selections, which is also done hand-in-hand with NEDC's designers. Once construction began, we had a weekly meeting with the project manager to discuss what had been done the prior week and what was coming. This allowed for timely course correction. The project was completed on time - maybe even a bit ahead of schedule, I don't remember, despite some COVID permitting setbacks - and at the budget that was set at the end of the design process. We were very happy with NEDC.

Dave is incredible. He assisted me with designing the layout and flow for my commercial construction project. He’s very detail oriented, knowledgeable and he explains everything well. It’s clear that he cares about the quality of his work and client satisfaction. I’d work with him again!

I have been working with NEDC for several years and I sincerely enjoy every project we do together!! For every project that we partner on, I receive fully organized and detailed information so that I can take charge of modeling the scene with all the details needed to generate the first preview image, making my job easy and simple. Working together with the NEDC team makes me feel like we share the same goal; “Provide the client a detailed design proposal in high quality, with a lot of passion”. NEDC makes me feel like family, they are excellent professionals and they give me total freedom to generate the renders.
