I had Peter remodel my primary bathroom in 2012 and five years later my kitchen, laundry and a 1/2 bathroom. Their work is top notch. I’ll put it simply, hire them for your project. You won’t be sorry.

We've had them do four projects for us and would use them again. Ambrose, the supervisor, is a joy to work with. David, the carpenter was great, as were the tile people. We trusted them enough to give Ambrose our house key so they could work while we were out of town. Peter is a detail kind of guy and was on top of the job.

Our kitchen remodel was completed early 2014. I immediately posted concerning the outcome and I traditionally post a few years later so users of business review websites can better appreciate and evaluate how the workmanship and materials used held up over time. We posted details of the completion of our kitchen project in Feb 2014. Since Bacarro Construction is still actively transforming kitchens, it is time to update how our project has held up over time. The remodel design of our kitchen far exceeded our expectations. We asked Peter and his design crew to focus on the practicality and functionality of the kitchen design because of our love for cooking. There were many exchanges of ideas in the planning phase to ensure the project would go well and it did. Ambrose and David were onsite to execute the design plans and make the project a reality. All their ideas are still relative to today’s most modern kitchen designs. The quality of their work has aged well. We have had no problems with the plumbing, cabinet and wall reconfiguring. The lighting and wiring give us flexibility in the use of our kitchen. Installation and placement of all kitchen appliance are configured well providing us with years of efficient utilization of our time in the kitchen. All subs worked well with us. Thanks to Ambrose and David, there were no major issues that we encountered over the course of the project that weren’t easily and quickly resolved. No detail was overlooked.

Based on a recommendation from a neighbor, we chose Baccaro to remodel our master bathroom after considering several other contractors. We were extremely pleased with the thoroughness, promptness and attention to detail they brought to the job. Another big plus in working with Baccaro is their in-house designer. With her help we were able to visualize many design options before committing to a final decision. We were so pleased with our experience with Baccaro that when we decided to remodel a second bathroom we didn’t even bother to get bids from other contractors. The results were at least as good as we expected – their designer created a computer-generated template for the tile person to follow when placing the hand-painted Mexican tiles we chose. Once again the work was done to the highest professional standards. Also, Ambrose Baccaro, the on-site superintendent was a delight to work with.

High quality workmanship! There was no shortcutting and no compromise on our project (in stark contrast to others that looked at our rebuild), which we appreciated, since they rebuilt our new family/entertainment/bar room.

Peter Baccaro is thoroughly professional, honest, organized, and a stickler for details. Not only is Peter top-notch, but his subcontractors are as well and most have worked together for as long as two decades. All involved in Baccaro Construction are courteous, knowledgeable, skilled and communicate well. During our massive, whole-house renovation, Peter had scheduled his workers so well that there was always someone working at our house. And they showed up on time! They stuck to the project timeline and budget. They are friendly and easy to work with. We received regular phone calls to update us on the status of the work throughout the project, as we were not living at the house at the time. Another good thing about Baccaro Construction is that they will work with you if you want to make changes in the middle of the project. I didn't think I would be the type of person who would throw in last-minute changes but, alas, I did. Whatever I threw at them, they handled quickly and with good humor. Their biggest concerns are quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. I feel fortunate to have found a construction company with unfailing integrity. You hear so many horror stories about contractors, but Baccaro Construction and Company are a dream! I can't recommend them highly enough.

Baccaro Construction has performed their magic on my home 3 times, the first to remodel my master & hall baths. We were so impressed with their professional & respectful personalities of all employees & the subcontractors that I didn't even interview anyone else when it was time to remodel more of my house. Peter (the owner) also dealt with my interior designer, who had messed up tile orders & had me pre-buy a lot of things (which no one should do before they hire a contractor). She became very difficult, attempting to blame Peter when we had to change design due to her errors. He stepped in to protect & help me, which was beyond his scope. For my other 2 remodels I used Baccaro's design service and everything was smooth. The 2nd time I had them tear down several walls & create a "great room" effect, remodeling my kitchen, dining & family rooms into one big space that I love. The last was another bathroom remodel which was for my 19 year old daughter & he listened & incorporated all of her needs & ideas & the bathroom is beautiful!. Peter came by almost every day to check work. As to Peters employees, Ambrose, David & Stephanie, all exceeded my expectations. They caught & fixed problems before I was aware most of the time. David is a perfectionist & I saw him redoing a section because it was not exactly straight. I had to look hard to recognize what he was pointing out! Ambrose had my kitchen island quartz redone because he did not like where they manufacturer had put the seam. They cleaned up every day before they left. Peter & Stephanie researched & found every discount & deal within their suppliers to lower my overall costs. Yes, they are higher than other contractors (but not the highest I interviewed) but totally worth it. Oh and change orders (which add to the cost) were minimal because Peter does such a great job before he gives his estimate. On my last project, I think I had only 1 & that was due to me changing my mind about a design element!

One word could describe the work performed by Baccaro Construction: DETAIL! We had been searching a few months for a suitable contractor to handle remodeling our small kitchen. We had two primary goals in mind: 1. Replace/upgrade all the appliances 2. To update the cabinetry and maximize their storage space within the original kitchen dimensions As a secondary option we also considered “bumping out” a kitchen wall to increase the cabinet space but only if it was cost effective against the overall property value of the house. As an ancillary goal, we also wanted replace our downstairs carpeting with hardwood flooring which would extend into the kitchen area. After interviewing many contractors we learned the following: oMost said they could do all that we “desired” including the "bump out", which may not have been cost-effective but never voiced by any of them oMost gave a completion timeline of 3-4 weeks oMost were ONLY building contractors and did not have any kitchen design experience oMost were not able to provide even an initial estimate on the initial house visit. They indicated they would need a follow up appointment to bring in one of their architects and/or design folks. Some of them never followed up or even bothered to return our calls. This left us with no estimate and worse yet, no vision of what we wanted or what was cost-effectively possible. Given these results, we realized that we needed to find someone that had the resources of a contractor, an architect, and an interior designer. Ideally, a self-contained, "one-stop" contractor so that everyone was on the same page at all times. Our search led us to Baccaro Construction and its owner, Peter Baccaro. From our initial meeting with him we were impressed with his knowledge, experience, professionalism, and most importantly his genuine pride for his business and the quality of the results it was expected to deliver. Peter was also the only contractor to give us initial requested estimates for both with and without the wall "bump out" but indicated that this option would not be cost effective and recommended against it - our same sentiments. He was very detail oriented. As with any remodel/construction work, not everything goes according to plan but with each exception that was discovered, Peter provided alternatives with an eye towards maintaining the original cost estimate. And with each change we requested it was followed up with the same attention to detail. Baccaro Construction also had the benefit of having an in-house Certified Interior Designer on their staff - Emily Job. Emily designed a kitchen that re-oriented part of the counter top at a unique angle that not only gave a new more open look, it also increased the cabinet space within the same floor foot print. Her input was invaluable as she helped us envision and narrow down the myriad of style, color, and materials for the cabinetry, counter top, and back splash choices. The only concern we had was the approximately 3 month estimate for completion. Looking back I think the concern originated from all the other contractor’s 3-4 week estimate. We started thinking that our remodel may become a low-priority due to its small scale compared to other larger kitchen remodels that Baccaro Construction may have been accustomed to. Nothing was further from the truth. We felt that Peter and his team (especially his Project Supervisor, Ambrose, who happens to be his son!), gave our remodel the same priority as any other of their projects. This indicated to me that they do an extremely well job of their workload balancing. As the project progressed it became apparent to me that the reason for the longer timeline was due to the fact that the cabinetry was indeed "custom-made-to-order" and the high level of detail they exercised when installing them. Their cabinet expert (David), was indeed a "craftsman" as I personally witnessed on numerous occasions how each cabinetry component was carefully hand shaped/adjusted where needed to insure a perfect. The customization even extended to the inside of the cabinetry. For this level of unexpected detail, no argument: it was well worth the wait. I'm fairly certain most other contractors would have just “thrown up” some standard cabinets and hidden any major gap imperfections under some attached molding pieces. The same could be said for Baccaro construction's choice of the flooring contractor (Darien Causer). Again, it would have been a reflection of the overall remodel project but Peter uses trusted associates that he has worked with and enjoyed a good working relationship with over many years. Darien was just as detail oriented in the fitment of each hardwood floor panel. And finally, this was not our first experience working with contractors. In the past we’ve had a second floor room addition performed, as well as a master bathroom remodel. Both were performed by two other different contractors and we were satisfied with the work performed by them but Peter Baccaro and his trusted team of skilled craftsmen definitely raised the bar higher. It has been about 2 months since our kitchen remodel was completed and we are still in awe over the new look. We've had curious neighbors come over to see the new kitchen and they walked away with similar positive impressions. One of them intends to use Baccaro Construction for their kitchen remodel. And, yes, they had already experienced similar unsatisfactory initial meetings with other contractors . . . Needless to say, we highly recommend Baccaro Construction. Give Peter a call.
