Pollak design group is an incredible company to work with! Amanda is on the ball. Her reccomendations go with what will still look good in a few years and with your personal design. Modern and classic and personal, which can be a hard nail to hit. If something didn't feel perfect, we sat until we found soemthing that did. Once the work started, when a question came up, Amanda made herself completely available as if I was her only client. Things change from the plan to actuality, and Amanda was there with measurements, second ideas, cool insights, and made what can be a very overwhelming experience a really fun and exciting one!

A friend working with Amanda and Pollak Design Group recommended that we get in contact when we were planning out our remodel. When we got our first set of drawings, my wife and I knew it was a great choice. She took what we had described, improved on several of our ideas, thought through many things that we never would have thought of, and provided options for key areas to show pros and cons of the various options. As we got into construction, there were no significant deviations from the original designs. Everything fit. Any surprises when we opened up walls, were quickly worked around and largely turned into a non-issue. As far as the design goes, my wife and I got exactly what we wanted. We showed pictures of styles, discussed what we liked/didn’t like, and Amanda helped provide options that fit style, budget, and quality. One of the things we appreciated the most here, is that she would tell us her true opinion. Her motivations were to get us a fantastic final product and not just blindly agreeing with everything. I can’t describe how helpful it is to have a third party give their feedback to keep you from getting too overwhelmed by the massive amount of decisions both big and small that you have to make from design, to construction, to finish selection. Amanda brings reliability, thought, organization, and style into what can quickly become a stressful process. We had significant issues with our contractor (no fault of hers) and the stability that she provided was an absolute godsend. I couldn’t recommend someone working with her enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Amanda and the outstanding job she did on our home remodel. We did a full gutting of our house for what turned out to be a year-plus project, and Amanda was there every step of the way, creating a vision for redesigning our layout, patiently guiding us and answering our millions of questions, managing the project for our contractor, meeting us at endless stores to help us select materials and products - I can't even fully capture everything that Amanda did on this project as that would require writing a whole essay! She's incredibly responsive and communicative and goes above and beyond in everything she does. I've spoken with other friends who had hired designers/architects and I can honestly say I haven't heard of any other experience that has matched ours with Amanda. If you're lucky enough to hire her, don't hesitate for a minute!

Our goal was to refresh and improve accessibility in our home. Amanda was very intuitive about our taste. She worked on our interior and exterior. In a very organized fashion our projects were done as quickly as possible. We have a home we are comfortable in and proud to share with friends and family.
