Rockbridge Flooring just completed a kitchen remodel at my home. This is definitely a Five Star Company! I have used them before. They are very knowledgeable and perform quality work! Would definitely recommend this company!

Rockbridge Flooring recently replaced our master bedroom carpeting. It was a nice, neat job and we feel a good value for the price. James, the owner, and Tammy at the store were knowledgeable and easy to work with. They also re-stretched the carpet in another bedroom and more importantly repaired some dents and scratches on our wood laminate floor caused by a botched appliance delivery crew. Very pleased with the results!

Long story. But, I was very unhappy with the quality of work done in my house and the threat of legal action because I held money--what else can one do??!!!

James and the staff at RFP were great to work with when building our new rental cottages! They were knowledgeable and very helpful in finding just the right products. They were also fast and accommodating! We recommend them and will be calling on them again in the future!

James and his crew redid the floor in our kitchen at Southern Inn Restaurant. We had been getting by with temporary fixes for years and he helped us to identify the source of the problem and come up with a permanent solution. He understood that closing the restaurant for any period of time would mean a significant loss in revenue for our business and he was able to get the entire job scheduled for the first week of January when we are at our slowest. They worked diligently to get the job done on time, even though they ran into more obstacles once they began the project. He worked practically around the clock to make sure that we were back open when we said we would be. They were fantastic and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Rockbridge Flooring Professionals installed a new tiled shower in our home, the results far exceeded our expectations. Two professional workers were assigned: Ben Zollman and Chris Godfrey- they truly were professionals. They arrived everyday on time, with the very best of materials and tools and a well thought out daily plan. They finished this beautiful project ahead of schedule because they would arrive and get right to work. Each day they were cheerful and explained what they were going to get accomplished and then did it. Daily, they would put down drop cloths and clean up when they left. The sub floor work is built like a tank and the new plumbing is neat and leak proof. The tile work is a work of art- simply elegant. We do hope to get them back for more projects.

Great Experience ! I have done 2 projects with RFP and both went exceptionally well. Our first project was to pull up all the flooring in a 2-floor condo and get new wood and carpet installed in less than 5 days - super compressed time schedule. RFP finished early and kept one the home clean every day, critical since we had painters working overnight. This project went so well I couldn't wait to use them in our own home. James was most patient with me as I deliberated many flooring scenarios for the renovation of our 120 year old Victorian. RFP found a way to level our floor and put in the most beautiful wood in our kitchen and worked seamlessly with the other trades working in the home. James and Casey worked closely with me on many stone and tile purchases - they are very proactive and worked hard to find sources that met my requirements. As a 30 year practicing Interior Designer - I am so happy to have found RFP in my new home town of Lexington, VA.

James and his team did a shower remodel and added an additional 1/2 bath for us. They do amazing work! His guys arrived to work on time and worked hard all day. They went above and beyond to keep is happy throughout the process. The remodel and bath addition was done while we continued to stay in our home and that was challenging at times but they made it as painless as possible. James had his guys do several extra projects that we needed done and we are so grateful for that! I highly recommend RFP!

Our house flooded a few years ago and as the repairs wrapped up it came time to install carpet for the entire upstairs and install laminate flooring for half of the first level. We hired James, knowing him on a personal level, and trusted him and his crew to be in our home while we were away. Not only did his crew do a phenomenal job, they went above and beyond, ensuring the carpet was installed in a specific way to neatly transition from carpeted areas to tiled areas. They also carefully cut trim pieces to complete the installation of the laminate and it turned out beautifully! It was a relief after such a long repair process to have professional, trustworthy people in our home.

Rockbridge Flooring has provided flooring services in three of our properties (two annual rentals and our second home on the Bay). His professional advice is on target, the flooring work is meticulously completed, and on time. The next time we have flooring needs, we will call James Higgins !
