Renovating homes isn’t just our profession, it’s our passion. In fact, our history is steeped in home renovations. Davyn Arscott, who founded The Reno King in 2007, is the son of the respected North Shore general contractor Anthony Arscott, who headed A.G.A. Home Renovations until his retirement. Indeed, among the very first sounds Davyn remembers hearing was a hammer and drill that his father was using in the next room. That’s not surprising, because while Davyn was growing up, his parents quite literally took their work home by completing major renovations on multiple homes. But beyond the first hand skills and knowledge he gained in such an environment, Davyn also learned that the ONLY way to build anything is to build it with integrity. The Reno King has been built on the foundation of doing what’s right for the customer and project first and foremost. Our reputation for excellence is earned by building one beautiful detail at a time. It’s your castle, and it’s our reputation at stake when we renovate it. That’s why we ask you to look closely at the our project photos and examine the tile work, carpentry, and quality of materials. What you’ll see is that we’re not just builders, but craftsmen dedicated to providing a beautiful new kitchen, gorgeous bathroom or stunning full renovation that you, our client, will enjoy for many years and be proud to show family and friends. A New Era In January of 2019, some restructuring took place, with Davyn stepping down from the Presidential role and into the company’s full time estimator and systems developer. Mr. Thomas Joyce, one of The Reno King’s successful and charismatic Project Managers, confidently stepped into the role to lead the company to the next level of success. Tom exemplifies the same high level of integrity that the company represents and was the perfect man to take the reigns. This new exciting structure truly opens the door to recreating a unique experience for our customers. Already, Tom and Davyn began working together on the initial estimate appointment to get our customers a more complete and detailed estimate in a matter of hours/days instead of days/weeks. When the project is underway, Davyn is dedicated to ensure all changes and add ons are estimated and approved quickly to avoid delays.
