I recycled an old bunk bed set! The old wood was used to create a new headboard. Then I re-stained the old furniture with a hickory gel stain. Also painted the old ladder with green paint and repurposed it into a trophy stand. I wanted the illusion of a higher ceiling so I did vertical paint stripes behind the headboard. Had to share... :)
