This estate offers over ten acres of manicured landscape areas, open spaces and woodlands. Each area has its own unique details and there are surprises in every corner of this property. As you pull into the drive you are greeted by a large circular fountain with multiple heads. From the front of this home there is no way to tell what lies beyond the back door.
Once you step outside into the rear garden you are reminded of some of the finest country clubs or resorts. The rear windows of the home look out on either an allee' of trees leading your eye to what looks like an infinite piece of property, a magnificent pool, fountain and pool plaz a or the private three hole golf course that allows for marvelous vistas.
This landscape is a perfect balance between intimate spaces such as the fire pit area or the limestone and iron gazebo in the woods or the marvelous open space of the golf course or the large bluestone pool plaza below a raised sitting terrace.
Many limestone planters filled with spectacular annual flowers dot the landscape and limestone details are custom designed and perfectly executed to make this project a true dream to which to come home.

It’s easy to enjoy your backyard deck on a sunny Sunday afternoon in 75 degree weather, but how about at dusk when the sun and temperature goes down? It’s times like these that your backyard will cry out the most for one of our antique limestone fire pit elements. Consider building one during a backyard renovation or when you have a gas line installed. While those are both great design ideas to consider during a landscape project, don’t feel like those are the only available options in order to get a little flame into your yard.
When surrounding yourselves with our antique stone elements you'll travel through a time portal of sorts, connecting you with past generations that have walked and lived their lives on top of our old stone blocks for centuries. You deserve nothing but the best.

Bring the relaxed luxury of a modern coffee table outside with the Lumineer fire pit. We think it is beautiful enough to be an indoor set piece, but it was designed to give your outdoor space both warmth and charm. The open, airy design is grounded with the use of solid concrete. Fuel options for the Lumineer fire pit include natural gas, propane and ethanol.

Home Infatuation
This handcrafted outdoor fire pit is constructed entirely of 11 gauge Cor-Ten steel. Commonly called "weathering steel" it will develop a beautifully brown layer of rust when exposed to the weather.
The weathering rust actually performs as a protective coating providing greater resistance to corrosion compared to other steels. It will take 2-4 months for the steel to fully rust.
The fire pit is designed for wood burning or using lava rock or decorative glass. Natural gas or propane gas models are also available. Approximately 25 lbs of glass will be needed (not included).

TCP Custom Outdoor Living
The homeowner wanted a hill country style outdoor living space larger than their existing covered area.
The main structure is now 280 sq ft with a 9-1/2 feet long kitchen complete with a grill, fridge & utensil drawers.
The secondary structure is 144 sq ft with a gas fire pit lined with crushed glass.
The table on the left in the main structure was a piece of granite the homeowner had and wanted it made into a table, so we made a wrought iron frame for it.
There are more sentimental touches! The swing by the fire pit is a newly made replica of a swing the husband had made in wood shop in high school over 50 years ago.
The flooring is stamped concrete in a wood bridge plank pattern.

Who says green and sustainable design has to look like it? Designed to emulate the owner’s favorite country club, this fine estate home blends in with the natural surroundings of it’s hillside perch, and is so intoxicatingly beautiful, one hardly notices its numerous energy saving and green features.
Durable, natural and handsome materials such as stained cedar trim, natural stone veneer, and integral color plaster are combined with strong horizontal roof lines that emphasize the expansive nature of the site and capture the “bigness” of the view. Large expanses of glass punctuated with a natural rhythm of exposed beams and stone columns that frame the spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Los Gatos Hills.
A shady outdoor loggia and cozy outdoor fire pit create the perfect environment for relaxed Saturday afternoon barbecues and glitzy evening dinner parties alike. A glass “wall of wine” creates an elegant backdrop for the dining room table, the warm stained wood interior details make the home both comfortable and dramatic.
The project’s energy saving features include:
- a 5 kW roof mounted grid-tied PV solar array pays for most of the electrical needs, and sends power to the grid in summer 6 year payback!
- all native and drought-tolerant landscaping reduce irrigation needs
- passive solar design that reduces heat gain in summer and allows for passive heating in winter
- passive flow through ventilation provides natural night cooling, taking advantage of cooling summer breezes
- natural day-lighting decreases need for interior lighting
- fly ash concrete for all foundations
- dual glazed low e high performance windows and doors
